We haven't tampered with this light cotton, indigo-dyed shirt which buttons via a uniquely Thai knot-and-loop system – the perfect garment for fixing the car and a plate of laap or, perhaps more likely for most of us, cracking open a cold one. The classic northern Thai farmer’s shirt is meant to fit just a smidge loose so you can catch that elusive Southeast Asian breeze.

• Care instructions: This natural indigo product has been pre-washed but it will bleed; for the first few washings, wash with similarly-colored items.
